The theme of this year’s conference is “The Pastor And The Word: Standing On Truth In A Shifting World.” This high view of Scripture is a needed truth in our day and it captures why we, as pastors, must continue to build our churches on the truth of God’s Word especially in a world that increasingly casts aside absolute truth.

John Calvin wrote, “No other word is to be held as the Word of God, and given place as such in the church, than what is contained first in the Law and the Prophets, then in the writings of the apostles ...” (Institutes IV.viii.8f; cf. I.vi.2.).
