Development Funds
Sovereign Grace currently has four development funds that exist alongside of our operating budget to financially support the planting and development of gospel-centered Sovereign Grace churches in different parts of the world. Each fund, listed below, is managed by a committee of pastors who are doing gospel ministry for their representative regions of the world, along with Sovereign Grace Leadership Team members. It is both humbling and exciting to see how God is giving our small denomination increased opportunities to be a part of His missional work around the world. You can see details about each fund below, areas where the money will be used, as well as ways to give.
Europe Development Fund
This fund, working in concert with our annual operating budget, exists to financially support the planting and development of gospel preaching churches in Europe. Key to this cause is the equipping, care, and support of pastors who lead Sovereign Grace churches, or for pastors who are pursuing a partnership with Sovereign Grace either through church adoption or church planting in Europe. It is our hope that this fund will be used to financially support the amazing work that God is already doing in Europe for the glory of His name alone.
Presently, it’s amazing to watch God advance the gospel in Europe through gospel-centered preaching. Today, we now have work going on in the United Kingdom, Italy, Belarus, and Germany. We’ve also been supporting Ark Church Dnipro in Ukraine.
All funds given, are used for the following categories: Theological & Pastoral Training, Church Planting, Pastoral Care & Support, Resource Development.

Africa Development Fund
This fund, working in concert with our annual operating budget, exists to financially support the planting and development of gospel preaching churches in Africa. Key to this cause is the equipping, care, and support of pastors who lead Sovereign Grace churches, or for pastors who are pursuing a partnership with Sovereign Grace either through church adoption or church planting in Africa. It is our hope that this fund will be used to financially support the amazing work that God is already doing in Africa for the glory of His name alone.
Our denominations involvement in Africa began over 25 years ago through our relationship with Wilbroad Chanda. Wilbroad planted Christ Community Church, a Sovereign Grace Church in Ndola, Zambia, and he also started the Copperbelt Pastors College to train men for pastoral ministry. Wilbroad’s vision for Zambia, and Africa overall, has influenced our entire family of churches. In God’s kindness, we now have work going on in Zambia, Ethiopia, Somalia, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Benin Republic and Sierra Leonne, and partner with three different Pastors Colleges in Africa. Now that Wilbroad is in glory with the Lord, this fund is being established in his honor and our desire is to use it to help fulfill the wonderful vision Wilbroad had for Africa.

Asia-Pacific Development Fund
This fund, working in concert with our annual operating budget, exists to financially support the planting and development of gospel preaching churches in Asia-Pacific. Key to this cause is the equipping, care, and support of pastors who lead Sovereign Grace churches, or for pastors who are pursuing a partnership with Sovereign Grace either through church adoption or church planting in Asia-Pacific. It is our hope that this fund will be used to financially support the amazing work that God is already doing in Asia-Pacific for the glory of His name alone.
Our denomination has been involved in Asia-Pacific for many years, but it’s only in recent years, through the development of the Global Partnership Plan that we’ve been able to reap the fruit of many years of sowing. We are now serving in places such as Australia, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea and Thailand, with four church plants and thirty-three church adoptions planned for SG Asia-Pacific in the next 24 months.

Latin America Development Fund
This fund, working in concert with our annual operating budget, exists to financially support the planting and development of gospel preaching churches in Latin America. Key to this cause is the equipping, care, and support of pastors who lead Sovereign Grace churches, or for pastors who are pursuing a partnership with Sovereign Grace either through church adoption or church planting in Latin America. It is our hope that this fund will be used to financially support the amazing work that God is already doing in Latin America for the glory of His name alone.
Presently, it’s amazing to watch God advance the gospel in Latin America through gospel-centered preaching. Our denomination has been involved in Latin America for many years, starting with Mexico some 30 years ago, through our relationship with Carlos Contreras. Today, we now have work going on in Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, and have 3 church plants and 15 church adoptions planned for SG Latin America in the next 24 months.
